HighLine Polycarbonate has introduced a new self-repairing hardcoat. The video shows the coating on a 0.157" thick piece of Polycarbonate. To demonstrate the coating we scratched it with a wire brush. Normal abrasion resistant (AR) polycarbonate would quickly become scratched when subjected to this treatment. Our self repairing coating instead repaired itself within a few seconds.

The coating has been successfully used in laminating applications and can withstand a lamination cycle of over 250 F for 8 hours.
